Construction Administrator needed to start with reputable home builder based on the Gold Coast

 

Construction Administrator / Receptionist

 

A full time permanent position is available for a Construction Administrator / Receptionist to join a leading Residential property development company.

 

Your new company

This organization manages residential projects right from the very start of the property development process, through to the complete close of construction. Their foundation is based on providing a quality, first-class service to their clients and making sure they are left with a faultless end result.

 

Your new role

You are the main point of contact providing a stream of communication between the customer and the client. You will be a long term support to the company and must have previous administration or reception experience in the Construction field. Working with other staff members and assisting different departments when needed will be required. This position is perfect for someone who is looking to stay with the organisation long term. You will have formerly accumulated a strong set of skills within the office support sector, previous experience with building and construction projects will be a distinct advantage.

 

Duties include but not limited to:

Receptionist duties

Directing incoming calls (not high volume)

General office administration - mail etc

Coordinating consultants as needed - building applications

Building Application submissions

Liaising with Site Supervisors, subcontractors & Suppliers

Construction compliance certificate coordination

Producing client information packs

Maintenance co-ordination

 

What you'll need to succeed:

Construction experience is essential and residential experience is a distinct advantage. Your ability to juggle numerous tasks simultaneously will lead to your success. Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills are essential to complete your day to day tasks effectively. From following up with clients for outstanding documentation, to conducting general administration duties and maintaining all office documentation and general clerical support to the wider team when required.
